THE CULTIVATIONS
Our fields are prevalently destined to cattle grazing and the forage cultivation
while a portion is destined to the cultivation of the potatoes and cereals.
FORAGES
About 100 hectares of field is cultivated in forage for secure fresh forage for cattle in the good season and hay for the winter's months. The annual production store for the winter is about 5/6 thousand tons.
POTATOES
Sila plateau is a zone particularly devoted to this kind of cultivation, because the climatic conditions favour its vegetation.
Our fields are marked fruitful by natural manure.
Our potatoe production takes up about 20/30 hectares of farm surfaces.
There are cultivated both seed potato and consumption potato.
SEED POTATO
Our farms have got the proper licence for potatoe reproduction and sale.
This activity is subjected to particular directions and controls, both
by the "Osservatorio Fitopatologico
Regionale" and the "Nazional
Office of Sementi Elette", which certify the product designated
to the reproduction and sale
CONSUMPTION POTATO
Our farms devotes themselves to the method of the "Integrated
Production" of the meal potatoe.
We adhere to a special disciplinarian and subject our self to strict
controls that assure an agricultural system of high quality production,
that respect the environment and the consumer health.
